About the role

This is a casual Forklift and High Reach driver position at BTK Logistics (3PL) Pty Ltd, located in Altona, VIC. You will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and high reach equipment to move and manage inventory within our busy warehousing and distribution facility.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move, load and unload products and materials

Unloading/loading trucks quickly and safely

Inventory management

Efficiently move and store inventory in designated locations

Ensure all warehouse operations are carried out according to safety regulations and company policies

Assist with general warehouse duties as required

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

Valid forklift and high reach equipment licenses

Previous experience operating forklifts and high reach equipment in a warehousing or logistics environment. Long tyne forklift experience an advantage.

Intermediate computer skills. CartonCloud experience an advantage.

You will be checking inventory, quality control and ensuring export containers are loaded efficiently and reporting is on point

Ability to work efficiently and safely within a fast-paced team environment

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Commitment to safety and attention to detail a MUST

Flexible in availability. Possible some Saturday work and Sundays for only a limited time but must be flexible as we change with customer needs
