About the role

As the Store Manager at Toyworld Wauchope, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store located in Wauchope, NSW 2446. This is a full-time position that will see you leading a small team, to deliver an exceptional customer experience and drive business growth.

What you'll be doing

Manage all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, sales, customer service, and staff scheduling

Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the store team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Roster requires alternate Saturday work

Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve store efficiency, and enhance the overall customer experience

Analyse store performance data and identify opportunities for improvement

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant industry regulations

Collaborate with the regional management team to support the overall business strategy

What we're looking for.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in the toy or specialty retail industry.

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to create a positive shopping experience

Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically

Proficiency in financial management, inventory control, and data analysis

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Strong work ethic.
