What you will be doing:

You’ll be leading a hardworking kitchen team to deliver nutritious, high-quality meals to residents, ensuring compliance with all food safety standards. If you love working in a structured environment with purpose, this is the job for you!

Shift Pattern:
We are looking for Chef available every weekend, with the benefit of weekend penalty rates.
Shifts include both morning and afternoon options:

• Morning Shift (AM): 6:00am – 2:00pm
• Afternoon Shift (PM): 9:30am – 6:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and workflow
• Supervise, lead, and roster kitchen staff effectively
• Maintain compliance with WH&S, HACCP, QA, and Food Safety regulations
• Assist with menu planning, updates, and implementation
• Work closely with facility managers, residents, and clients
• Ensure meals are well-presented and meet Aged Care standards

What we need from you:

• Commercial cookery or hospitality qualifications preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Understanding of Aged Care accreditation standards and food service guidelines
• National police check within 2 years
• Experience in large volume cooking
• Knowledge of Infection Control
• Must be double COVID-19 vaccinated
