ABOUT THE ROLE
Shape the future of heavy vehicle safety and training at a nationally respected centre in Barnawartha. Make a real impact on driver professionalism.
As a Trainer in Heavy Vehicle Licensing, you’ll deliver high-quality training and conduct assessments in line with VicRoads requirements. Based at the Logic Centre in Barnawartha, you will support participants through hands-on instruction, time management, and active engagement. You’ll also contribute to program development, liaise with students to address training needs, and support administrative tasks. Selected Duties:
Deliver high-quality, specialist training and assessment to meet required competencies and service standards.
Support and monitor students to ensure timely completion of training and assessments.
Work independently to meet training priorities and delivery deadlines.
Maintain accurate and confidential training records in line with standards and regulations.
Conduct training in a safe environment following TAFE policies and procedures.
Stay current with heavy vehicle licensing, industry trends, and technology.
ABOUT YOU
Skills & Experience

Heavy Vehicle Licensing Certificate III and/or 5 years substantial experience in the Heavy Vehicle Industry.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to obtain.
Must be able to undertake a pre-employment medical, based on the inherent requirements of the position as outlined in the Critical Physical Factors document.
Current Australian Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence
