The Role
As a roaming HSEQ Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting our safety initiatives, risk management, and fostering a safety-first culture across various projects in the Perth Metro area. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with Health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, as well as championing a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation. You will also lead the implementation of Halo’s operating system, as well as auditing and inspecting multiple projects.

Responsible for:
Investigate and report on incidents, implementing and monitoring corrective actions.
Conduct risk assessments and reviews
Promote a strong safety culture across all Halo Projects / sites.
Conduct and report HSEQ audits.
Develop and manage HSEQ Management Plans.
Ensure compliance with WHS and Environmental legislation and industry standards.
Support internal and external annual audits for Halo’s Operating System.
The Management of Project SharePoint HSEQ folder structure and records
Ensure training and VOCs are conducted and current
Supporting multiple project management teams in meeting their project objectives and targets
Conduct drug and alcohol testing when required
Attributes
Legal right to live and work in Australia
Strong attention to detail and a passion for safety excellence
Proficient with current Australian and ISO standards 14001, 45001 and 9001.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving abilities
Experience in emergency management
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position, ideally in civil construction.
Current driver’s license
Police clearance
Construction Industry White Card.
Minimum Cert IV in Work, Health, and Safety (essential).
Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessing (desirable).
ICAM Trained (Essential)
First Aid (Essential)
Drug and alcohol testing Certificate
