Access Metal Recycling is an Australian, family owned metal recycling business specialising in the collection and processing of scrap metal from our customer sites across NSW and the ACT.

We have a team of excavator operators that are supplied with their own 8-wheeler rigid tipper and float, who travel throughout regional NSW and the ACT to collect scrap metal from farms, factories, mines and railway sites. Our collection team operators move from site to site across regional NSW and the ACT, loading scrap metal into our trucks using grab and magnets, that carry it away for further processing.

This role is ideally suited to a person who likes working on their own, has strong organisational skills and enjoys travelling, with each day being a new site and/or client. We have well maintained, late model/new machinery, ideal for the person who takes pride in their work and their equipment, and an in-house maintenance team that keeps our equipment in top order.

We would like to hear from you if are someone that has:

• Minimum HC license
• Experience operating excavators up to 16tonnes
• Competency with operating a 8 wheeler rigid tipper and float
• The ability to organise your job schedule on a day-to-day basis
• The ability to communicate with our customers in a professional manner
• An excellent attitude and work ethic to operate autonomously
• Commitment to the safety of yourself and others around you
• Pride in taking care of their machinery

Given the travel required for this role, this position can be based out of either our yard in Canberra, ACT, Barmedman, NSW or Orange, NSW. Given the travel required, we are also happy to consider suitable applicants from outside these areas.
