• Manage the APAC region operations relationship across Australia & New Zealand (ANZ)

• Lead the development and execution of supply chain market approach for distribution, commercialization and locally managed categories in line with the company's business objectives and financial goals, with a focus on meeting market requirements, driving cost savings, KPIs and process improvements.

• Lead the implementation of department strategy and change management with the Market Supply and Ops manager and support the team to develop and deliver this.

• Work to deliver plans for all prioritized local categories and support as required the regional and global category plans in the ANZ area.

• Identify and priorities work and all of the projects that need to be completed by the team, building a plan to deliver these with the available resources, managing risks and dependencies.

• Build strong relationships with the team and when necessary, act as an escalation point to ensure that plans are appropriate and can deliver requirements whilst ensuring they fit with suppliers and the teams capacity and capability.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement and supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Supervise the end-to-end sourcing, negotiation, and contracting process for goods and services.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with the c-suite at key local suppliers and support strategic partnerships developed by Strategic Sourcing team, ensure that the team monitor supplier performance and attend performance reviews as necessary.

• Work with the Commercialization team to agree the qualification process for new suppliers that Client want to use ensuring that this is signed off with the appropriate Category lead for regional sourcing and the Procurement and Supply Chain manager for ANZ.

• Support the teams negotiating favorable terms and act as an escalation point resolving any issues or disputes that may arise

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate ANZ requirements and understand their needs and pain points, providing guidance and support to drive operational excellence.

• Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and cost savings within the procurement and supply chain function, with a focus on delivering category savings targets.

• Meeting targets on productivity/cost savings/ performance against Agreed targets for both self and team

• Distributor performance KPIs: On-time, In-fill, Accuracy and OTIF

• Operational cost savings throughout the distribution network

• Delivering and reviewing strategies against an agreed timetable

• Delivering projects identified in strategies

• Delivering SRM programmed against an agreed timetable

• Risk management KPI’s (contingency, financial risk etc)

Key skills and knowledge

• Proven experience in the procurement of distribution services, including logistics & supply Chain

• Experience of working in an environment where strategic category management is well embedded

• Experience in a matrixed environment

• Experience of working with Source to Contract tools

• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills

• A sound grasp of the food industry, ideally in a retail, QSR or hospitality environment, is highly beneficial, as is having worked in a multi-country environment

• Highly customer and service orientated

• Strong interpersonal and communications skills; able to challenge and influence the strategic development of the business and to communicate with the diverse network of stakeholders that comes with working in a franchise network.
