The Position
Our People Experience team is looking for a Business Administration Trainee to assist and support the important work we do. This busy and fast-paced role will provide exposure to Human Resources functions including recruitment, payroll, workplace health and safety and general administration.
You'll be posting job advertisements, updating our employee database, booking pre-employment checks, arranging interviews and liaising with hiring managers. You’ll be shown how to pay invoices, process resignations and enter information into our various computer programs.
This role will provide you with both on-the-job and classroom training in order to achieve a Certificate III in Business Administration – we’ll pay for you to study and give you time off to attend classes.
About you
You'll have strong interpersonal skills, be comfortable with technology and able to prioritise. Human Resources work requires an individual who can maintain employee confidentiality. We’re looking for a reliable self-starter with a professional outlook and a willingness to learn.
To be suitable for this Traineeship you must have completed Year 12 and be eligible to enrol in a Certificate III in Business Administration.

Location
On-the-job training will be at the City’s administration building in Spearwood. Studies will be at a registered training organisation.
Salary: $64,936 per annum, plus superannuation
