MARS Recruitment is partnering with a prominent Australian professional services firm to recruit a Finance Manager for a 4-week interim contract. This role will support the finance team's daily treasury and accounts receivable operations, ensuring smooth cash management and timely reporting.

The Responsibilities:

• Performing daily bank reconciliations for six bank accounts
• Uploading payments into Xero for processing
• Submitting payment batches to ANZ and Macquarie for approval
• Running and distributing debtors reports and following up weekly with Directors on outstanding AR
• Conducting bank checks at ANZ to validate transaction integrity
• Processing write-offs, issuing credit notes, and managing client refunds
• Producing monthly archive reports to support financial close and audit readiness

The Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years' experience in a finance or accounting role, with hands-on AR and treasury exposure
• Proficiency with Xero and ANZ/Macquarie payment platforms (or similar)
• Strong reconciliation, reporting, and attention to detail skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Ability to hit the ground running and deliver accurate information

To Note:

• 5 days per week in their Martin Place based office
• You must be available between 04/08 - 05/09 to be eligible for the role
