Are you ready to take on a dynamic role where you can make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our client as a Customer Service Representative. Act as the channel between the client, warehouse, transport and operations to ensure the receipt, despatch and storage of customers' stock.
Location: Kenwick
Pay rate: $33.73p/h + Super
Full time hours - Monday-Friday - 8am-4pm
Key Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring efficient coordination of all activities related to customer management
- Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with customers to foster long-term partnerships
- Facilitate professional, prompt, and accurate communication
- Coordinate client orders with warehouse and transport teams
- Process client rate structures and accurately capture all ad-hoc charges to ensure transparency and efficiency
- Monitor and ensure timely order fulfillment by warehouse and transport teams, utilising daily reports to track progress
- Prepare and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve operational performance
- Identify and report non-conformances, initiating Improvement Requests as necessary to drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams such as forklift drivers and fleet controllers to streamline operations and address challenges effectively
- Demonstrate familiarity with customers' products, ensuring compliance with storage, stacking criteria, and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate records by promptly entering all stock receipts and movements into the warehouse management system
- Ensure completeness and correctness of all documentation before acceptance, adhering to company standards
- Uphold cleanliness and tidiness in the workplace at all times, promoting a safe and organized environment
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) legislative requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in customer service is essential
- Computer literate with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management systems desirable
- High level of data entry accuracy
- Excellent communication literacy and numeracy skills
- Interpersonal skills - must be able to communicate with, and relate to, a range of employees and customers
- Good attention to detail
- Effective time management and problem resolution skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Team player, innovative and focussed on continuous improvement
