We are seeking a proactive WHS/HR Adviser to join our growing team and support our commitment to safety, compliance, and workforce wellbeing.

The Role

As our WHS/HR Adviser, you’ll work closely with operational leaders, site teams, and senior management to ensure our workplaces remain safe, compliant, and high-performing. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong interest in safety systems and people-focused HR practices.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of WHS policies, procedures and training.

Conduct site inspections, safety observations, and incident investigations.

Support injury management, return-to-work coordination, and safety audits.

Assist with workforce onboarding, compliance documentation, and HR records management.

Contribute to toolbox talks, consultation sessions, and safety committee meetings.

Coordinate with labour hire and contractor workforce to ensure compliance with WHS/HR standards.

Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical, fair employment practices at all times.

What You Bring

Minimum 2 years' experience in a WHS or WHS/HR hybrid role.

Understanding of WHS legislation, workers compensation, and Fair Work practices.

Relevant qualifications in WHS or Human Resources (Cert IV or higher).

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Ability to influence and engage people at all levels.

High attention to detail and a practical, can-do approach.

Desirable

Experience in manufacturing, construction, or transport environments.

Return-to-work coordination exposure.

Familiarity with systems like HammerTech, Procore or similar WHS platforms.
