This is more than just a safety role, it’s an opportunity to truly make a difference by helping to shape, implement, and continuously improve our health and safety practices across all levels of the organisation.
If you're someone who loves ticking off checklists, champions safe and inclusive workplaces, and knows how to turn policies into practical action, this could be the perfect role for you. You’ll work alongside dedicated professionals, contribute to exciting projects, and play a key role in supporting the wellbeing of our people and the success of our operations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Partnering with our WHS & Environmental Officer to keep our Health & Safety Management System running smoothly.
Leading the charge on Skytrust modules – from implementation to ongoing management.
Getting hands-on with risk assessments, hazard identification, and policy reviews.
Supporting WHS Steering Group meetings, including minute taking.
Helping shape and roll out impactful training programs and completing training needs analysis.
Coaching teams and individuals on all things health, safety, and well-being.
Crunching numbers and generating WHS reports that make sense and make a difference.
Backing up our Healthy Lifestyle Program and Injury Management functions — sometimes even stepping in as Injury Management Coordinator.
Contributing to audits, small projects, and always ready to jump in where needed.
What you bring to the table:
Must haves:
A Cert IV in WHS (or strong experience that shows you know your stuff)
A valid SA driver’s licence – because safety doesn’t sit still
Solid knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management, and the knack for applying it practically
Strong communication skills – both with people and on paper
Confidence delivering training and handling complex or high-stress situations calmly
A keen eye for documentation, reports, and policy – with solid admin skills to match
Bonus if you’ve worked with injury management or in a self-insured environment
Nice-to-haves:
Experience with internal audits
