Position Overview:

Tip Top Childcare is seeking an experienced and dynamic Educational Leader / 2IC to help lead a team of passionate educators at our brand-new, purpose-built 32-placement Long Day Care (LDC) centre in Maroubra.

As our second-in-charge, you will play a key leadership role, supporting the Nominated Supervisor in daily centre operations while leading high-quality early learning programs and practice. You will also take a lead role in supporting staff onboarding and training in the OWNA system, helping embed smooth and consistent administrative practices from day one.

This dual-role is perfect for a qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) looking to combine their educational expertise with hands-on leadership and operational influence in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the culture, curriculum, and systems of a newly established centre from the ground up.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)

Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Child Protection Training

First Aid Certificate, including CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis

Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and Assessment & Rating process

Demonstrated experience leading or mentoring a team in an Educational Leader or 2IC capacity

Hands-on experience with the OWNA system, including confidence in training or supporting other staff in its use

Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
