Remuneration: $67,589 - $72,033 + 12% Super
Role Details:
Based in Adelaide's energetic Inner North, this exciting opportunity as a Youth Engagement Officer puts you at the heart of empowering young voices. You'll help shape services that support young people, build connections and bring their ideas to life through the Youth Advisory Council.
In this role, you will:
Plan and lead Youth Advisory Council (YAC) meetings, organise activities and invite inspiring guest speakers
Build genuine, respectful relationships with young people who've had a care experience, as well as their families and support teams
Handle practical tasks like booking venues, managing records, arranging transport and keeping to a budget
Support young people to share their views and influence the services that affect them
To be successful:
You're someone who connects easily with young people and knows how to create a safe, supportive space for them to be heard. You stay calm in tough situations and know how to handle sensitive conversations with care.
