Location: Forrestfield, WA
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 p/a + Super (dependent on experience)
Permanent, Full Time Position
Working Hours: 8am - 4pm (flexible)

About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor / Generalist, ideally with a background in a blue collar environment or business.

The role will see you work directly with the business owners on a daily basis, joining the shared services team and working across a range of initiatives whilst, taking the lead on HR operational requirements on a daily basis.

The role is a new role for their business so, needs someone that can proactively partner / work with the owners and existing management team to, improve and build on existing HR processes, without causing disruption to existing operations.

The role will require you to build strong internal relationships with multiple stakeholders to support the management and resolution of issues raised.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes for trades and labour roles, including all contract preparation and onboarding.
• Employee Relations: Support frontline managers with performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and interpreting relevant Awards, Enterprise Agreements (EAs), and Fair Work legislation.
• Dispute Resolution: Act as a first point of contact for resolving workplace grievances, facilitating mediation between employees and managers, and escalating complex matters when necessary.
• HR Administration & Compliance: Maintain accurate employee records, ensure compliance with workplace legislation, and manage HR systems and documentation (e.g. contracts, policies, leave records).
• Health, Safety & Wellbeing Support: Assist in managing return-to-work programs, promote mental health and wellbeing initiatives, and support safety compliance in coordination with HSE teams.
• Multiple Sites: Deal and support regional depots in regional WA locations.

What You’ll Need:

• Ideally, 2 to 3 years in a similar position previously that would allow you to bring and implement tried and tested processes.
• Previous HR Generalist experience and, a desire to continue in this type of role, working directly with the business owner.
• Strong HR Legislative experience
• Experience in managing dismissals, supporting managers with performance management plans and discussions, and.
• Previous experience with modern awards or, EA / EBA's.
• Every 3 - 4 months, comfortable with an overnight stay to one of the WA regional branches to show presence and, support branch operations.
