Afkos Industries was established in Western Australia in January 1980 to service the Mining, Mineral Exploration and Oil and Gas Industries, we specialize in the manufacturing of Hydraulic and Exploration products.
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Administration Assistant to join our team in Balcatta. This is a full time role and we are always looking for bright, hard-working individuals to become part of a successful company
While our office is low-key and our team small, we get things done — and we’re looking for someone who shares that practical mindset.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing valuable support to the business managers and directors and contributing to the overall financial operations of the company.
Your key responsibilities will include:
This role will hold a variety of daily responsibilities which include, but are not limited to the following;
Handling day-to-day bookkeeping (MYOB), including invoicing, Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable/ Inventory Management/Petty Cash reconciliation.
Month and Year end closing procedures, ensuring all invoices and expenses are processed, trouble shooting accounts and payment queries.
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reports.
Generate and present financial reports for management when requested.
Payroll, attending to payroll and group tax and superannuation.
Daily processing through Ecommerce online platforms SAP/Ariba for various mining companies (A Must) includes - Invoice processing- Purchase Order confirmations- uploading technical data.
Supporting the directors and team with general admin, office management, and workflow coordination
Entering data into Excel and Word documents in a form of client quotations and tenders for clients.
Maintain good filing system for all company records.
Assist in manual data entry for accounts.
What we're looking for;
· Proficient in using MYOB and SAP/Ariba software and MS Office suite (minimum 5 years experience)
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial data
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Must have valid Australian work rights
What we offer;
· Full time 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) Occasional Saturdays (as required)
· A salary package between $88,000 to $93,000 + Super
