About the company & role

We’re looking for a dedicated Security Equipment Service technician to join our SupaTech team. In this role, you’ll handle the installation, programming, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced security systems on construction sites and provide upgrades on existing sites predominantly across Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle and from time to time in Canberra.

We’re seeking someone with solid industry experience in servicing security equipment and security networks. For the right candidate, SupaTech will also fund formal training or certification to help you grow and succeed in the role.

About you

Beyond the technical requirements of this role, this role is suited to someone who is hands-on, shows initiative, enjoys working autonomously, is a competent and safe worker and enjoys a positive team & work culture. The ideal candidate will be able to;

Demonstrate experience with installing, programming and servicing security systems and diagnosing network issues

3+ Years experience working with electronic security (URMET, Dnake, iPassan, integrity, Dahua, Hikvision, etc)

Competently use hand and power tools

Holds a current Security licence (except for apprentices)

Holds a current White card

Valid Driver's Licence

More experienced candidates will have;

Current Cablers licence

Relevant product training certificates

Experience with Integriti alarms, Tecom, Bosch and large-scale CCTV systems using VMS packages.

Experience in networking, and commissioning of routers

Suitable qualification (Engineering degree, Certificate in Security Equipment etc.)
