Your Role

As the Events Officer, you will coordinate and support a diverse range of events at Burswood Park. You’ll serve as the primary liaison for event organisers, ensuring events align with our strategic goals and meet all approval requirements. Additionally, you will build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and assist in creating promotional content to effectively promote upcoming events.

The role is being offered as a 12-month Fixed Term Part Time (0.6FTE) Contract with an opportunity for additional hours during the event season, and the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Your application will be assessed against the following essential Selection Criteria:

Demonstrated experience in coordinating events, with a preference for experience in external events, and event promotion.

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare promotional content.

Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills, including the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with a diverse range of people.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise initiative and provide innovative solutions to problems and issues.
