They employee over 6,000 staff and have been growing and increasing market share for many years. With a huge portfolio of equipment ranging from 1 tonne to over 90 tonne this operation has every type of machine that can support customers in nearly every market within construction. The business ethics and overall leadership team is second to none. Like any sales company, it is all about results and earning excellent money. The senior team support every employee within the operation and it’s down to you to deliver. With a 2-week onboarding program and set machinery training you will have the support from day 1. They have many long-term employees that have been with the business for over 15 years. With low staff turnover in the sales team this is a rare opportunity to join one of the largest market leaders within Earthmoving machinery Sales.

Job Opportunity –

In this role we are looking for that rare individual that can be 100% proactive and is always got their ear to the floor, listening to the market and always chasing the next Sale. You will support and drive new equipment sales through a cold calling approach. This is role is not for the weak hearted and you need to have the termination and drive to create success. For some Sales professionals this is the norm, you will manage your territory through postcodes and look to build relationships over a long period of time. You are to focus on the following markets –

· Civil Construction

· Hire

· Contractors

· Councils

· Forestry

· Quarries & Mining

You will be walking into an established territory which has a number of major customers and long-term relationships. You will need to introduce yourself and keep these moving forward. This area last year sold 1.013 of new excavators, these are all new machines sold into the above markets. With allot of business you need to focus on building your own reputation and look to sell new equipment to open projects or new machinery demand from replacement of old machines to new. Your ability to manage and drive sales should be second nature. Product selection for the right job is key as well as providing expert technical advice. Within your portfolio you will have the following machines to sell.

· Excavators – Wheeled & Tracked

· Articulated Dump Trucks

· Road Compaction Equipment

· Graders

· Dozers

Territory – You will cover Southeast and Northeast Melbourne to the Border. There will be nights away in regional areas. Metro Melbourne is also included.

Candidate Requirements –

5 + years in External Sales

You MUST have sold equipment, know this could range from construction equipment, material handling, trucks, Agg machinery, Forestry equipment, cranes this list is huge. The idea is you can sell a solution of high value.

Willingness to travel and work in the country areas in your patch.

Articulate, motivated, great communication and successful

Living in Melbourne, Victoria

Salary Package –

· Base Salary - $85,000 to $90,000

· Supernation 12%

· Company 4WD – Dual cab + Fuel Card and Toll pass

· Uncapped Coms – 2% On new with a sliding scale to 3.9%

· Company Uniform

· Product Training

· Phone & Laptop
