A well-established and awarded Japanese Omakase fine dining restaurant is looking for a reliable and motivated Kitchen Hand to join our team on a casual basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate. You will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and supporting kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.

The roles and responsibilities are:

Day to day running of the kitchen

Prepping and cooking

Clean dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work areas

Support chefs during service by assisting with kitchen tasks

A successful candidate should have the following attributes:

Have good knowledge of Japanese cuisine

Must have restaurant experience (fine dining experience is preferred)

Must have a valid working visa (permanent residency or Australian citizen is preferred)

Must speak good English (Japanese speaking is preferred)

Commitment to high quality and be consistent

Have desire to learn and continuous skill development

Reliable and hardworking

Creative and passionate about food

Take pride in food preparation and presentation
