DIVISION 1 – PRACTICE NURSE

3-4 DAYS PER WEEK

Start and finish times negotiable. Happy to discuss less days per week and perhaps employ two nurses.

Harp Family Medical in Kew East is a busy, family friendly, community orientated Practice, operating in the area for 30 years.

Our Nurses are highly valued and respected members of our care team. We are seeking a dedicated and caring Practice Nurse to join our current Team of 2 nurses, who can provide clinical and administrative support to our GPs and our Neurologists.

Current AHPRA registration is essential. Experience in a General Practice setting and Nurse Immunisation Certificate is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities include:-

. assisting the GPs and Neurologists in delivering medical service

. patient triage

. assisting with minor operations

. performing ECGs

.administering childhood and adult immunisations

.iron infusions

.wound care

.ear washouts

.conducting health assessments

.managing recall and reminder systems

.managing test results systems

.treatment room management – sterilizing – stock management

.maintaining infection control procedures

Essential Criteria:-

.Team orientated personality, excellent communication skills, multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.

.Compassion and professionalism

.Must undertake Nurse Immunisation Certificate if not already completed.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and CV.
