About the role

Join the dedicated team at Ability to Achieve as a Female Registered Nurse Team Leader in Canberra, ACT. In this full-time role, you will lead a team of nurses and support workers to provide exceptional client-based healthcare services. Your strong clinical and leadership skills will be invaluable in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, personalised care to clients.

What you'll be doing

Provide direct nursing care and support to clients, including conducting health assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and monitoring client progress

Lead, coach and mentor a team of nurses to promote best practice and ensure consistently excellent client outcomes

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic, integrated care for clients

Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical and regulatory standards

Maintain accurate and comprehensive client records

Scheduling and coaching of staff

Ensure stock is ordered and maintained as well as medications

On call to support staff when not on shift

What we're looking for

Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration

Significant experience in health nursing

Proven leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities

Commitment to delivering high-quality, client-centered care

Proficient in using relevant clinical software and documentation systems
