We’re looking for a positive and community-minded Customer Service Officer to join our friendly team. You’ll be supporting our team through an exciting systems transition, so a proactive mindset and the ability to step up and take ownership of tasks will be highly valued. If you have a professional manner, flexible outlook and can-do attitude, we’d love to hear from you!

The Shire of Capel is located in the South West, halfway between Bunbury and Busselton. We are nestled between the beach and the forest and are one of the fastest growing coastal Shires in Australia. You’ll need to juggle priorities with ease, show initiative with problem-solving and communicate with warmth and professionalism. This fixed-term role plays a key part in maintaining a positive customer experience and supporting our internal teams. As we transition to a new operating system, there may be opportunities to assist in other teams or support your customer service colleagues working across different areas. Your flexibility, teamwork and positive attitude will help make it a success.

As part of our team, you will enjoy:

  • Flexibility and support
  • Investment in you and your career
  • An inclusive culture where all our people are valued, EEO, diversity and differences are respected
  • A strong focus on employee wellbeing and safety
  • Full time, 19-day work month
  • Base annual salary $63,136 per annum
  • Annual leave loading of 17.5%
  • Up to 14% Shire superannuation contribution
  • Employee benefits program offering a wide range of discounts
