About the role

Jasbe Petroleum is seeking applications from motivated and experienced Retail Managers to oversee the daily operations of various, individual stores located in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs. This full-time position plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving the strategic growth of our retail business. As Retail Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of store operations, from inventory management to staff supervision.

What you'll be doing

Effectively manage the overall store operations, including inventory, sales, and customer service

Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience

Supervise, train, and motivate a team of retail associates to ensure excellent customer service

Analyse store performance data and make informed decisions to optimise operations

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations

Collaborate with the regional management team to identify and implement process improvements

Contribute to the development and execution of marketing and promotional campaigns

What we're looking for

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in the convenience store or fuel retail industry- with exposure to carwash.

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate a high-performing team

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving operational efficiency

Proficient in inventory management, cost control, and financial analysis

Proven track record of implementing successful sales and marketing strategies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both customers and team members

Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and priorities
