Morrissey Homestead Incorporated is a fully compliant Aged Care and Disability support organisation with over 40 years in the local community.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic person, focused on enhancing organisational strength, supporting people to have engaging and fulfilled lives and has attention to detail in a full time Leadership Coordinator positon.
This position oversees & relieves our Leadership Team roles, conducts client reviews & documenting client service journeys, ensuring ongoing staff development, implementation and maintaining quality & safety standards across all funding sources and ensuring compliance to all relevant laws and regulations.
About you
We are looking for an organised, independent thinker who can support the Morrissey team to achieve client satisfaction and organisational success. The right candidate will demonstrate their knowledge through response to the Essential criteria items and display great leadership qualities.
Essential criteria you require:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience and ability to comply with relevant legislation relating to Aged Care and National Disability Insurance Scheme (ideal candidate will have experience in both, consideration for sound knowledge in one area with a willingness to self-learn will be made for the right candidate)
Outstanding time management, performance management and leadership skills
Managing subordinates, ensuring prioritising and completion of tasks
Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite software
Sound numeracy literacy skills
Advanced communication skills written and verbal
o effective interpersonal skills
o excellent customer service skills
Ability to communicate effectively with people from culturally diverse backgrounds including those with communication difficulties including language barriers or limitations associated with disability.
Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team, to achieve outcomes
Ability to identify, investigate and solve problems with a continuous improvement focus
Embrace and deliver the organisation strategic directions and operational plan
Desirable criteria:
Sound experience in scheduling
4 years’ experience working within the Community Service sector
Operational level of understanding of Alchemy - SMS or similar client statistic-based software
