Red Rooster Mildura is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to join our leadership team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our fast-paced quick service restaurant.

Location: 237 Deakin Avenue Mildura, VIC 3500

Position Summary:
This is a full-time Retail Manager position offering an opportunity for career growth and long-term stability. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing operations, leading staff, and ensuring delivery of high-quality service and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure efficiency and profitability

Determining product and service offerings, stock levels, and quality standards

Leading, training, and supervising staff, including rostering and performance management

Managing budgets, monitoring financial performance, and achieving sales targets

Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations

Handling customer service issues, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive guest experience

Liaising with suppliers and coordinating inventory and procurement.

Skills and Experience Required:

Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in a retail or food service management role

Diploma-level qualification or equivalent work experience in retail or hospitality

Proven ability to manage teams and work in a high-pressure, customer-focused environment

Strong knowledge of WHS, food safety, and operational procedures

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Must be available to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating rosters.

Annual salary: AUD $75,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation

Hours of work: 38 hours per week
