What you'll be doing

Complete Vehicle Defect Notices in accordance with Vehicle Breakdowns procedures

Perform tasks as directed by the Workshop foreman, and notify of any parts requirements for performing maintenance and repairs

Record all parts used with a part number and applicable unit number

Ensure appropriate service schedule is used for serving vehicles, and that they are completed in full

Correctly complete all work detail sheets ensuring all inventory items used, part numbers, oils and labor are recorded in full

Complete time sheet daily recording all associated and appropriate information

Supervise and assist with training of apprentices

Pre-start quality checks on all vehicles to ensure they are in safe and roadworthy condition

Ensure tidiness and that company uniform and PPE is worn

Follow all IMS procedures

Requirements

Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic (HD Mechanical qualifications desirable)

HR licence (desirable)

Unrestricted rights to work in Australia

National Police Clearance
