Who are we?

The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation is one of Sydney’s largest frontline charities and has been operating for almost 40 years. Our mission is to provide assistance to address the cause and effect of homelessness and poverty faced by marginalised individuals. We succeed in achieving this through a combination of caring services like food provision, social welfare and education support.

Opportunity

We are seeking an Executive Assistant to join the Office of Bill Crews and support Executive Team in Ashfield.

In this important support role, you’ll help keep our office running smoothly by providing reliable, day-to-day administrative assistance. You’ll be coordinating meetings, managing schedules, preparing documents and ensuring our team can focus on delivering vital services to the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and organise meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes
  • Manage calendars and appointments for senior staff as needed
  • Draft and edit letters, emails and simple reports
  • Maintain files and records accurately
  • Support preparation of materials for Board and committee meetings
  • Provide general office support as required
  • Handle confidential information carefully and professionally

To be considered for the position, you will have:

  • Previous experience in administration, executive assistant, office support or similar role
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Reliable, professional and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Friendly and helpful approach to working with others
  • Respect for confidentiality
  • Empathy for people from all walks of life
