About the role

SJR Plumbing and Gas Fitting is seeking an experienced Tradesman Plumber to join our growing team in Newcastle, NSW. This full-time role presents an excellent opportunity to apply your plumbing expertise and contribute to the continued success of our reputable, local and family-owned business.

What you'll be doing

Undertake a variety of plumbing work, including installations, repairs, and maintenance across both residential and commercial properties

Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently and to a high standard

Comply with all relevant safety regulations and best practices

Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to work completed

Support and mentor junior team members as required

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications as a Tradesman Plumber

Extensive experience working as a Plumber, preferably within both the residential and commercial sectors

Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills to efficiently identify and rectify plumbing issues

Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Commitment to safety and quality standards
