About the role

Join JRM Resources as a full-time Safety Advisor at our Newmont Boddington site. This role will see you responsible for ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our workforce community. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital part in supporting the organisation's commitment to a safe and compliant work environment.

What you'll be doing

Conducting site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks

Providing safety training and coaching to all employees

Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions

Maintaining accurate records and reporting on all safety-related matters

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation

Collaborating with project managers and teams to embed a strong safety culture

What we're looking for

Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Safety Advisor or Safety Officer

Knowledge of and previous experience with mobile plant and civil works highly regarded

Thorough understanding of work health and safety legislation and best practices

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement in safety performance

Passion for creating and maintaining a safe work environment
