About the role

We have an exciting full or part-time opportunity for an experienced Early Childhood Educator (as this is an above ratio staff position, we are open to considering a trainee beginning their early childhood career, or a Diploma/ECT qualified Early Childhood educator), to join our team at Rainbow Children's Centre Inc in East Ballina, NSW. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our long day care centre.

What you'll be doing

Implementing engaging, play-based learning programs that foster the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of children

Building positive relationships with children and their families

Ensuring a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment for all children

Observing and documenting children's progress and learning to inform future curriculum planning

Working collaboratively with the broader childcare team

Complying with all relevant legislation, regulations and policies

What we're looking for

A relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education (or a trainee depending on the applicant)

Experience working in a long day care or preschool setting

Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to delivering exceptional care

Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certification

A valid Working with Children Check
