Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It):
We’re on the lookout for a compassionate, qualified, and community-minded Counsellor to join our team in Charleville. You’ll be the go-to for families and individuals needing support, guidance, and a listening ear—within a two-hour radius (road trip, anyone?). If you’re passionate about making a difference in rural communities, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing (aka Your Superpowers):

• Delivering therapeutic interventions and psycho-educational support like a pro
• Providing general counselling services and crafting case plans that actually work
• Keeping client records as sharp as your listening skills
• Collaborating with a team that believes in reflection, discussion, and a good cuppa
• Attending supervision and PD like the lifelong learner you are
• Stepping up for disaster recovery work when needed (cape optional)

Who You’ll Help:
Families and individuals with children and young people aged 0–18 who need a hand, a heart, and a whole lot of hope.

What You Bring to the Table:

• A Bachelor of Counselling or equivalent (or experience that knocks our socks off)
• A current Working with Children Blue Card (or the ability to get one)
• A solid framework for working with individuals, couples, and families
• Bonus points if you’ve worked in the addictions field (gambling, alcohol, other drugs)
• Group facilitation skills that make people feel seen and heard
• Stakeholder charm and collaboration magic
• A commitment to equity, ethics, and safety
• Communication skills that could talk a cat off a fish truck
• A current QLD “C” class driver’s licence and a Yellow Card (or ability to get one)
