Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for weddings, events, and high-end experiences? Eight Willows Retreat is seeking a Wedding & Corporate Events Sales Manager to lead our wedding and corporate bookings from first enquiry to seamless handover — with a strong focus on conversion, set-up coordination, and building long-term client relationships.
As a luxury retreat and function venue in the heart of the Margaret River region, Eight Willows Retreat is expanding rapidly across both wedding and corporate markets. We’re looking for someone who can grow with us, someone confident in sales, creative in marketing, and calm under pressure on event days.
About the Role:
This is a sales-first role, responsible for driving new bookings across weddings, retreats, incentive groups, and corporate functions. While the role includes helping coordinate venue set-up and on-the-day details, we’re open to tailoring operational tasks depending on the candidate’s strengths. If you’re a sales superstar but less available for night/weekend work, we can build the right support around you.
You will be the key contact for all wedding and corporate event enquiries, responsible for nurturing leads, preparing proposals, conducting site inspections, and handing over key event details to our operations team for execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Management
• Respond to and convert inbound wedding and corporate event enquiries
• Host site inspections and attend expos/networking events to build leads
• Prepare tailored proposals, quotes, contracts, and run sheets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with wedding clients and corporate planners
• Represent Eight Willows Retreat at industry trade shows, wedding fairs, and business events
• Track leads and maintain detailed CRM data
Event Set-Up & Coordination
• Coordinate logistics with vendors and internal teams in the lead-up to events
• Assist with venue set-up and styling elements where needed
• Ensure all plans are clearly communicated for smooth event delivery
• Flexibility to support events onsite when required — but not mandatory for every weekend
Marketing & Social Media
• Liaise with the marketing team to support content campaigns and promotions
• Assist with photo collection, styled shoots, and social content capture
• Contribute to EDMs, social calendars, and gallery updates post-event
• Represent the brand in a polished, engaging, and professional way
What We’re Looking For:
• 2+ years’ experience in event sales, weddings, or corporate coordination
• Proven track record in sales conversion and client management
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management abilities
• Confident working across both weddings and business functions
• Marketing or social media experience highly desirable
• Familiarity with CRMs like iVvy preferred
• Valid RSA and driver’s licence preferred
• Available for some weekend or evening work as needed — flexibility possible for the right candidate
