Salt Village French Patisserie is seeking to appoint an experienced Cafe All Rounder who also has superior barista skills. Ideally we would like a hip head barista with energy and a passion for all things from bean to customer experience.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

Lead the team by demonstrating exceptional coffee and customer service and commitment to staff development in this field;

Rotating roster including at least half weekends, early mornings, afternoons and public holidays;

As a contributing team member and All Rounder, Open, Close and Hygiene procedures;

Customer service focus to create a great coffee and pastry experience;

Report direct to Patisserie Manager

Full-time or Part-Time

Skills and experiences include and are not limited to:

Experience must include at least 2 years cafe and customer experience

Top class barista skills to lead the team and increase output from triple head, run busy shifts

Ability to lead by example, delegate key tasks and ensure accountability

Eye for detail and spirit to problem solve and fix it

Understanding of cleanliness, shop hygiene and stock presentation

Clear personal communication skills

Hard working and enthusiastic

Use of cafe technology, POS, bump screens, qr code ordering, rostering app

This role provides an ability to support a quality patisserie cafe and use your skills and experience in a manner to provide shop consistency and direction for our dedicated staff. We do have a great team who will respond well to good leadership in this space.
