The Role
Due to an increase in work, Diverse Group Australia has an immediate full time vacancy available for an experienced Civil Earthworks Supervisor to join our team. The opportunity could suit a Supervisor, Senior Supervisor or Superintendent.
This will be a FIFO role from Perth, working a 2:1 roster (all dayshift).
We have been awarded a long-term contract in the Pilbara mining area. Additionally we have multiple smaller projects ongoing.
Scope of work is bulk earthworks/rehabilitation/production earthworks.
Reporting directly to the Superintendent or Operations Manager, the successful candidate will supervise and lead the mobile plant operator crews. You will be a strong and positive example, demonstrating guidance and leadership at all times.
Duties and responsibilities
Supervising civil earthworks and rehabilitation project on mine sites
Day to day organisation of the project site and site safety
Control of all assets onsite including plant and vehicles
Managing a crew of mobile plant operators
Ensure the project is delivered and constructed on time, to specification and quality expected from our company

Requirements for this Role
To be considered you must have:
Section 26 Statutory Supervisor certificate (essential)
Current Australian Drivers Licence
Previous supervisor experience in a Civil Earthworks or Production environment (ideally a Tier 1 mine site)
S26 Supervisor qualifications or willing to obtain
National Police Clearance or willing to obtain
Able to pass medical and drug test
A strong understanding and compliance of safety regulations
Ability to supervise and oversee employees and subcontractors
Exposure and understanding of mining and civil earthworks
Hold proven verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders
