Barnardos Australia is seeking a dedicated Head of People and Culture Partnering to join our People and Culture team in Ultimo, 2007. This is a a full time permanent opportunity to be part of a values-led organisation committed to making a real difference in the lives of children and families.
About the Role As a Head of People and Culture Partnering, you will:
- Lead the strategic delivery of People and Culture Partnering initiatives across Barnardos Australia, with a focus on our Children and Families portfolio.
- Manage and coach a team of P&C Business Partners to deliver high-quality, people-focused services to leaders and employees.
- Oversee and continuously improve core HR functions including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance support, and reward and recognition.
- Champion diversity, inclusion and reconciliation in partnership with Gurung Wellama, our Aboriginal Cultural Support Unit.
- Contribute to a safe, psychologically supportive and high-performing workplace by driving key wellbeing and WHS initiatives.
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management, Business, Organisational Psychology, or related.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar strategic role managing a small team with strong business partnering.
- Deep knowledge of P&C strategy and operations, employee legislation and organisational change.
- Demonstrated experience influencing leaders and uplifting organisational capability.
- Prior experience in the not-for-profit or community services sector is highly regarded.
What’s on Offer:
- Base salary: $150,000 – $160,000 per annum + 12% superannuation
- Salary packaging: Up to $15,860 tax-free (general living expenses)
- Meal & entertainment packaging: Additional $2,650 tax-free per FBT year
