Workplace Trainer and Career Advisor

Full Time, Part Time Considered - Ongoing

The Team:

The Organisational Development (OD) team implements highly successful training and development programs; culture and engagement activities; strategic projects and diversity initiatives across MBPH. The OD Team works collaboratively with all learning and development functions at MBPH and also supports the regional training model to Northern Mallee health services.

The Role:

Reporting to the Director of Organisational Development, this position will deliver high quality training courses through varied methods of learning to staff at MBPH. The successful candidate will be empowered to contribute to the creation and review of current and new courses. Supported by close partnerships with your colleagues in the broader People, Culture and Strategy Team, this role receives strong support from all levels of staff and the leadership team. You will be passionate about helping others to learn new skills and your primary objective is to support staff in acquiring the necessary non-clinical skills and knowledge to excel in their roles and contribute to the overall success of MBPH.

This role will also see you providing guidance on career paths and identifying future education and training opportunities that align with workforce planning and organisational goals.

This position has been classified as a HS3 in accordance with the Victorian Public Health Sector (Health & Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

TAE40110: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent or the ability to acquire such within the role (essential)

Relevant vocational qualification and/or competencies at least to the level to be delivered and assessed. (desirable)

Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering workplace training initiatives (essential)

Experience working in a healthcare setting (desirable)
