An amazing opportunity exists for a motivated and dynamic individual to join the Procurement and Contracts team at the City of Kwinana. This is a part-time position reporting to the Coordinator Procurement and Contracts, and working alongside a superstar team. As our new Business Support Officer you will deliver specialised procurement and contracts support services including compliance monitoring, contract administration, system development, and analytical functions. Using your elite analytical skills and eye for detail, you will ensure overall adherence to procurement policies and legislative requirements while supporting efficient and effective procurement outcomes for the greater organisation.

What You’ll Need
To make an impact in this role, you will have:
Experience in a procurement, purchasing, contracts administration or tenders role.
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail for identifying irregularities and non-compliance.
Demonstrated ability to conduct compliance audits and investigations independently with minimal supervision
Excellent written communication skills for preparing reports, correspondence, and documentation.
Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with suppliers, staff, and stakeholders.
Excellent initiative and demonstrated capacity to prioritise workload, manage competing demands, and work autonomously while knowing when to seek guidance.
Experience managing cyclical processes such as insurances, contract extensions, contract renewals and CPI adjustments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting, Word for reports and memorandums and PDF for contracts and agreements.
Previous Local Government experience and experience with the Technology One software is desirable.
