Senior Product Manager – Responsible Entity Change & Operational Readiness

6‑month + contract | Sydney CBD | Competitive day rate

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Responsible Entity transition and operational readiness workstream as part of a high‑profile separation program within the financial services sector. This senior contract role offers the opportunity to deliver a strategically significant governance outcome in a complex and regulated environment.

About the role
In this role you will oversee the Responsible Entity change for a portfolio of approximately two dozen funds, including both registered and unregistered schemes. You will manage the full regulatory process, coordinate key internal stakeholders and ensure the new RE is operationally ready to meet compliance and external review requirements from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the end‑to‑end RE transition, including unitholder approvals, ASIC notifications and scheme documentation updates
• Coordinate legal, compliance, risk, operations and product teams to deliver regulatory and operational outcomes
• Work with the business to build the operational capability of the new RE, embedding governance, controls and reporting frameworks
• Align workstream milestones to the broader separation program’s Day 1 and Day 2 deliverables

About you
We’re looking for a senior funds governance professional with:

• Demonstrated success leading Responsible Entity changes or similar fund governance transitions
• Strong technical understanding of managed investment schemes (registered and unregistered) and their regulatory obligations
• Experience establishing operational governance and ensuring readiness for regulatory or external scrutiny
• Background in corporate separation or restructure programs (desirable)
• Confidence managing senior stakeholders in fast‑paced, high‑stakes environments
