An exciting opportunity for a Resolution Officer has come about at the Legal Practice Board (Board). There is currently one permanent full time vacancy to be filled from this recruitment process.

The Board is a statutory body, responsible for the regulation of legal services in Western Australia and all Western Australian legal practitioners.

The Board aims to be a leader in the area of regulation and we pride ourselves on working with our stakeholders to ensure we have an engaged, active, competent, and ethical legal profession.

About the role

Reporting to the Director Dispute Resolution, the Resolution Officer works towards resolving disputes and conciliating complaints and matters (typically between consumers and legal practitioners) in a professional, effective and efficient manner, having regard for the law, standards, good industry practice and the Board’s policies and procedures. The role will manage and take responsibility for assigned dispute resolution matters.
