We are recruiting for an Office / Accounts Administrator for a minimum 38 hours per week (times to be negotiated between the successful applicant and Director) who will be responsible for assisting the Director and Operations Manager in ensuring all office activities are completed in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
You may currently be working for another small business and be looking for a new challenge, a chance to experience a new field of employment. This role will include ;
- Customer service skills, both by phone and face to face
- Job Management
- Following up with clients
- Ordering materials
- Liaise with trades people
As well as the above duties we are looking for someone that is competent in :
- Debtor reconciliation daily
- Credit reconciliation daily
- Payroll
- Manage cash flow
- End of month reconciliations
- Liaise with Management daily
- Liaise with accountant
And we are looking for someone able to have the :
- Ability to undertake other admin duties as they arise within a busy office
Applicants must have :
- Small Family business experience
- Ability to liaise with clients and staff equally
- General daily office experience
- Financial experience with small business
- Competent computer skills
- Organizational skills including electronic diary operation for the business, staff and clients
- Ability to work independently
- Initiative to learn and grow with our business
Product knowledge of the plumbing / trade industry would be great but not essential as the right person would be able to pick this up, learning as they go.
