Our client has over 80 years’ experience in the building and concrete industry. They manufacture a wide range of precast and prestressed products from boat ramps, pilings, barrier wall panels and other marina products.

This family business is currently seeking experienced General Yard Labourers with Forklift Tickets.

What you could be doing!

• Transporting raw materials and finished products, using forklifts or hoists
• Removing excess materials like weld splatter, rust and scale form metal parts.
• Some chemical cleaning - training will be provided
• Sorting metal sheets, parts and scrap.
• Preparing metal products for further processing
• Supporting structural steel fitter, metal workers and other metal workers in their tasks.
• Using metal equipment such as, circular saw, steel drop saws, angle grinders.
• Keeping work areas clean and organised

What we need from you!

• Experience working in a busy yard
• High risk LF licence
• Physical strength and stamina
• Manual dexterity
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instruction
• Basic understanding of metal working processes
• White Card (General Construction Induction)
• Drivers licence and reliable vehicle
