We are looking for an experience multi-site dedicated and proactive Property Services Officer to join our team in Perth. Rocky Bay currently holds a property portfolio of 80 buildings across the length of the Perth Metropolitan area and Geraldton. Our properties are business critical as they are a means of providing accommodation, enabling delivery of services to our customers and facilitating our business growth strategy. As we embark on our Metropolitan Facilities Development Plan and our Specialist Disability Accommodation Program, the property portfolio is set to grow by more than 50% and in terms of building footprint by more than 500%. About the role:

  • Competitive salary including Salary Packaging providing tax benefits of up to $18,550 and 17.5% Leave Loading

The Property Services Officer provides assistance to internal Rocky Bay sites and customers delivering a safe and reliable working environment. The successful candidate will perform maintenance tasks and contribute towards Rocky Bay meeting its audit requirements for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Facility Maintenance: Coordinate and oversee the maintenance and repair activities for Rocky Bay's properties, ensuring a safe and functional environment for our customers, staff, and visitors
  • Project Management: Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to plan and execute facility improvement projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and in compliance with relevant regulations
  • Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of building assets, including warranties, service contracts and maintenance schedules, ensuring efficient asset utilisation and lifecycle management
  • Budget Administration: Assist in the preparation and management of budgets related to property maintenance, capital projects and facility operations
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, addressing their concerns and ensuring effective communication throughout project lifecycles

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in providing property maintenance services (e.g. Managing Service Requests, Workflow Scheduling and engaging with customers and contractors)
  • Trade Certificate in Painting, Electrical, Plumbing and/or significant experience in a trade or maintenance services environment
  • Understanding of OH&S and legislative requirements in relation to Property operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work a flexible roster between the hours of 7am to 5:30pm
  • Demonstrated ability to manage external resources to deliver outcomes
  • Engage and manage contractors working on Rocky Bay sites to ensure service delivery is safe
