Develop in our respectful team of 5. Use your mechanical experience to diagnose and repair motor vehicles for travellers and backpackers alike, within a French-Australian based company.

Base remuneration for this full-time role will be [$75,000 - $85,000]

Regular working hours (40 hours) - Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM - No weekend work

About the role

Contribute to our inclusive team of 5 as our next Light Vehicle Mechanic. Reporting to the Owner/Director, this permanent full-time opportunity’s tasks & responsibilities include:

Providing expert advice in relation to mechanical condition of vehicles

Mechanical vehicle repair and servicing including engine, transmission, body, and suspension components

Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to the Service Manager and recording information using service reporting systems

Test driving and conducting final assessments prior to the return of vehicles to the customer

Always maintaining a safe working environment

Other general workshop duties where required

About you

Strong ability to produce a high standard of work within a fast-paced environment

A Team player with a desire to grow & develop a rewarding long-term career

Results driven with strong eye for detail & technical/mechanical ability

Positive, calm demeanour, punctual with a strong work ethic

Excellent communication skills both oral & written

Reliable, conscientious, adaptable and customer focused

Experience and qualifications

Must have Light Vehicle Mechanics Cert III or above

Must have a minimum of 5 years, qualified experience

Must live in Perth, Australia and have full working rights

Strong ability to produce a high standard of work within a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of all relevant Health & Safety regulations within the mechanics industry

Australian manual driver's licence

Some tools are provided, if you have your own, that is a bonus
