We are seeking expressions of interest and looking to fill a role as Senior Business Support

The Role:

We are seeking a suitable candidate to join our client's team as Senior Business Support

Your core duties & responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out a range of administrative functions in a high-demand working environment subject to strict time frames and adapt daily work to changing priorities.

  • Provide and coordinate specialist executive, administrative and secretarial support including organising and scheduling meetings, travel and function arrangements and ensuing the provide all agenda items, minutes and associated papers and material.

  • Provide high-level administrative and secretariat and project services to support the implementation of programs, services, activities and major projects delivered by the Infrastructure and Assets Network.
  • Undertake research and coordination of background notes and briefings

  • Manage, filter and screen incoming communications

  • Coordinate and monitor correspondence movements within the role of Divisional Liaison Officer.

  • Maintain corporate records in line with policies and procedures.

What you will need to succeed

  • Able to research and prepare well written and succinct policy documents, procedures, business and project plans and other high-level documentation.
  • High standard of ethics and confidentiality
  • Effective management and coordination of meetings ensuring appropriate briefings, premeeting information, timing and prioritisation of invites is achieved.
  • Time management; problem solving; dealing with challenging situations; capacity to adjust to short-term change; and verbal communication skills that enable effective interaction with stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to successfully manage competing priorities and maintain attention to detail and whilst meeting often tight and conflicting deadlines.
  • Proven abilities in business and project planning and management
  • Completion of an Advanced Diploma in a business or similar, coupled with experience providing administrative support to senior executives.
