Position

An opportunity is available for a qualified Electrician to join the Brisbane (Darra) workshop team as a Workshop Technician. This hands-on role involves working on electrical fit-outs, diagnostics, and repairs of diesel-powered equipment such as lighting towers, generators, welders, and compressors.

Primarily workshop-based, the role will also include occasional field service work as needed.

Key responsibilities include:

Electrical fit-outs on new and used equipment

Diagnosing and repairing diesel-powered industrial machinery

Assisting with workshop manufacturing tasks

Performing field service when required

Completing paperwork and job reports accurately

Keeping a safe and tidy workspace

Communicating with internal stakeholders and clients where necessary

Candidate

The ideal candidate is a licensed QLD electrician with hands-on experience working with diesel-powered generators or industrial equipment. You'll be technically capable, safety-focused, and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.

Key skills and attributes:

Current QLD Electrical Licence

Experience with generators, lighting towers, or compressors

Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot effectively

Team player with the ability to work independently

Strong focus on safety, detail, and quality

Excellent fault-finding skills and technical communication

Valid driver's licence and white card
