About the role

Bloom Maintenance Services is seeking an experienced Horticulturist to join our team in Smithfield, NSW. This full-time role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the landscapes and gardens of our commercial and residential clients in the local area.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining gardens and landscaping features

Diagnosing and treating plant health issues

Selecting and caring for a variety of plant species suitable for the local climate

Operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers and blowers

Providing advice and recommendations to clients on garden maintenance and improvements

Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in horticulture or a related field

Demonstrated experience as a horticulturist or gardener, ideally within a commercial or landscaping setting

Strong knowledge of plant species, their care requirements and appropriate applications

Ability to operate a variety of landscaping equipment and tools safely and effectively

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide practical advice to clients

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality work

Driver's licence
