Job Opportunity: Filling & Packing Staff – Queensland Yoghurt

Queensland Yoghurt in Nambour Sunshine Coast is currently hiring filling and packing staff to join our growing team. We’re looking for hardworking, reliable, and motivated individuals who want to grow with us. These are casual positions with the potential for full-time employment for the right person.

About the Role:

In this hands-on position, you will be working in various areas of production. Depending on your skills and training, your tasks may include:

- Operating liquid filling machines to portion and seal products
- Monitoring the filling line to ensure efficiency and quality
- Manually packing yoghurt tubs into cartons or trays
- Weighing, labelling, and inspecting finished products for accuracy and cleanliness
- Stacking finished cartons onto pallets, ready for cold storage or dispatch
- Cleaning machinery and work areas in line with food safety standards
- Assisting with daily production tasks and supporting other team members as needed

This role requires working in a production environment, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks. Attention to detail and following instructions closely is essential.

Requirements:

Willing to learn and take direction
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Basic understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GHP (Good Hygiene Practices)
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- Own reliable transport (car and valid driver’s licence required)
- Previous food production or factory experience is a bonus but not essential
