Our client in Central West NSW is the largest flour mill in Australia. They produce a full range of flours, ranging from low-protein biscuit flours and protein-enriched flours through to household and baker’s flours and specialty flours tailored to the needs of their customers, both domestically and in many export markets.
They are currently looking for Cleaners and Packers to fill current vacancies within their business.

This role is in Manildra, NSW 2865

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Cleaners

Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday - Friday

Duties will include all aspects of cleaning the factory and warehouse areas, storage facilities such as silos and bins, production equipment such as conveyor lines, and general staff work zones and amenity areas. Tasks will include vacuuming and dust control on machinery, floor areas and all general surfaces, and removal of waste product. Applicants should have previous experience in this field of work.
You will need to be fit for manual work tasks including some heavy lifting and use of cleaning equipment. These shifts are day shift; however, this could change from time to time.

Packers

Hours: Must be available to work a 12-hour shift roster which includes night shifts and some weekend work.

Retrieving requested goods from storage

Operating packing machines and loading them with packing materials as required

Preparing and packing the goods to get them ready for shipment

Labelling packages, making special note of fragile or perishable items

Loading finished packages onto delivery trucks

Counting and correctly recording all packed items

Performing general warehouse duties such as monitoring inventory levels or basic cleaning

Must have forklift licence - high reach preferrable

Rates: $40.10 - $44.91
