We now have the opportunity for a Retail Manager to join our dynamic team located at our retail store in Osborne Park.
Your Day to Day
Manage and coordinate daily operations, ensuring consistency in service delivery, sales execution, and customer experience.
Conduct in-home stairlift surveys throughout WA, evaluating installation feasibility, taking accurate measurements, and recommending appropriate stairlift systems (straight or curved).
Oversee inventory control and inter-store stock movement, ensuring optimal product availability for scooters, recliners, stairlifts, and other mobility aids.
Lead a team of sales consultants across multiple sites - onboarding, training, and conducting regular performance reviews to support sales growth and service standards.
Handle escalated customer complaints and warranty-related concerns, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
Work alongside marketing to implement seasonal campaigns and participate in public expos, delivering live product demonstrations and client education.
Assist with store-level budgeting, sales forecasting, and KPI monitoring, reporting performance insights directly to senior leadership.
Ensure strict adherence to occupational health and safety policies and internal operational procedures across all retail locations.
Skills
Customer Service:Retail managers must be adept at handling customer interactions, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Leadership:They need to be able to motivate, train, and guide their team to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
Communication:Effective communication is essential for conveying information to staff, customers, and upper management, as well as resolving conflicts.
Problem-Solving:Retail managers often face unexpected issues, from customer complaints to inventory problems, requiring them to think critically and find solutions.
Time Management:Balancing multiple tasks, managing schedules, and prioritizing work are crucial for a smooth store operation.
Inventory Management: Maintaining optimal stock levels, tracking inventory, and preventing loss are vital for a successful retail business.
Required Attributes and Experience
Excellent customer service focus with a friendly, likeable manner Strong problem-solving skills
Be driven and self-motivated
Ability to work in a team and follow health & safety (OHS) protocols
Integrity & Compassion
Proficient computing skills and a quick learner
A positive "can-do" attitude
Well-established communication skills
Willingness to undergo NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) New Workers Check
Willingness to receive annual flu vaccination and other vaccinations as required by the NDIS
Willingness to do occasional overnight travel (all expenses incl)
